Dr. Aaron Kunamalla is a board-certified interventional and structural cardiologist with advanced training in complex cardiac procedures. He earned his M.D. from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He went on to complete his cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology fellowships at RUSH University Medical Center, followed by a structural cardiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as a Harvard Medical School Clinical Fellow.
His clinical expertise includes transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), left atrial appendage closure (WATCHMAN), complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and structural heart disease management. Dr. Kunamalla has published peer-reviewed research in journals including Circulation Research and has presented at national conferences including the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions. Dr. Kunamalla is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology, and is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered cardiac care using the most advanced techniques available.
